It’s that time of year again when we start getting ready for one of the most high-profile events of the year …. The Australian Association for Unmanned Systems “RPAS in Australian Skies” conference.
Anyone who knows anything about drones attends the event, and not only is it a fantastic networking event, but you get a great insight into the advances in the UAV industry and where the industry is heading.
This year, for the third year in a row, we are finalists in the Industry Champions category for Education and Safety. This award recognises the individuals and organisations who demonstrate leadership in educating industry with particular emphasis of developing a safety focussed culture. UAV Training Australia prides itself on ensuring that all of our graduates understand the importance of being a safe operator. No matter how big or small the job you may be working on, Safety is the #1 priority and educating fellow operators is part of building a safety culture across the industry. Fostering professionalism and focusing on perception, behaviour, and value are key components to building this culture, and we work with all our students and operators to develop and enhance these attributes.
So fingers crossed, this is our year to take out the Champions Award…. Although we do feel extremely humbled to be nominated again.
