Course Overview
The Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) course provides those working in the aviation industry the knowledge and skills to legally operate a radio in controlled and restricted airspace.
This includes manned aircraft pilots, drone operators, flight crew, ground crew, customer service staff, air traffic control, aerodrome reporting and work safety officers, emergency services and more. The AROC licence will allow you to communicate via VHF airband radio within other operators in the aviation environment.
Our drone courses are conducted by our CASA approved testing officers. We ensure that you are competent and confident to operate a radio and understand the aviation language used within the industry.
Our testing officers are also approved to assess General English Language Proficiency (GELP) and Aviation English Language Proficiency (AELP) up to “Professional“ level 6.
