The Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) Course will provide those working in the aviation industry the knowledge and skills to legally operate a radio in controlled and restricted airspace. This includes manned aircraft pilots, drone operators, flight crew, ground crew, customer service staff, Air traffic control, aerodrome reporting and work safety officers, emergency services… just to name a few. The AROC licence will allow you to communicate via VHF airband radio within other operators in the aviation environment.
This course is conducted by our CASA approved testing officers who will ensure that you are competent and confident to operate a radio and understand the aviation language used within the industry. Our testing officers are also approved to assess General English Language Proficiency (GELP) and Aviation English Language Proficiency (AELP) up to “Professional “ level 6.
